The Morning service began with a guitar duet by Joel and Matthew McCarville playing “Wayfaring Stranger” and “He is Jehovah”. Bro. Jeff Downey welcomed those in attendance and made announcements. Bro. Rodney Duff led songs. Bro. Donald Fittin prayed. Female Octet sang “Sing Hosanna and Rejoice in His Name”.  Bro. Ronnie Rish read scripture reading from Mark 11:1-11. Bro. Donald Fittin sang “How Great Thou Art”. Bro. Jeff Downey’s message was taken from Psalms 113-1-9 “Praise the Lord”. Who was in the crowd on Palm Sunday? Some religious leaders, some followers of Jesus, some Roman soldiers, some out of curiosity, and some who were sincerely praising Jesus. God wants us to praise Him, v.1-3, challenges us to praise God, v. 1 commands us to praise Him. In v. 2, we are given an example of praise and when we are should praise Him, now and forevermore, from the rising of the sun and to the going down of the same. Praises are going on continually. We must do our part. Why? We should praise Him because: (1) He is God Almighty (2) He is Everlasting (3) He is Exceptional (4) He is Extraordinary, He is worthy of our praise (5) He is full of grace and He is Great. In II Corinthians 5:17, says we are made into new creatures when we are redeemed. (6) God is good. May all we praise God for He is worthy of our praise. The closing song was “Let’s Just Praise the Lord”. Bro. Ronne Rish prayed while many came to the altar for prayer.
